The Emotion-lab program: a novel educational model for the development of Emotional Intelligence in children
The Emotion-lab is a novel educational model, designed to promote the development of Emotional Intelligence in typically developed children. The model exploits the interactive features of Panda PlusMe, the smart interactive toy used within IM-TWIN project, to teach children to improve their emotional awareness, through social play. On Saturday February 4, at 9.30 AM, a workshop on new technologies for ASD and other neurodevelopmental disorders will be held at the Department of Human neuroscience, University of Rome La Sapienza. We invite you to contribute to the Frontiers Research Topic “Diagnosis and improvement of Communication Skills in Neurodiverse Children with the Use of New Technology”, to be published in Frontiers in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
The aim of the collection is to bring together the latest quality articles from researchers working in the area of Autism and Other Neurodevelopmental Disorders, focused on exploring the design of new interactive technologies addressed to augment social-emotional motivation of children to communicate, clinical validations, user experience studies, early diagnosis process and impact of these new technologies in neurodevelopmental disorders.
